Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making any online booking or purchase at The Corner Studio. By proceeding with your booking or purchase, you agree to comply with the following terms:

  1. Booking Confirmation: Your booking or purchase is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive a booking confirmation email from The Corner Studio.

  2. Cancellations and Refunds:

    • Art Class Bookings: Cancellations made by a student more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled class may be eligible for a class credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the class or no-shows will not be refunded, except that cancellations made within 48 hours of the class due to the student’s positive COVID test result may be eligible for a class credit.

    • Studio Hire Bookings: Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the scheduled booking may be eligible for a refund, subject to a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of the booking will not be refunded.

  3. Rescheduling:

    • Art Class Bookings: Requests for rescheduling by a student must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class, subject to availability.

    • Studio Hire Bookings: Requests for rescheduling must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled booking, subject to availability.

  4. We may cancel or reschedule an Art Class Booking due to low booking numbers or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation or rescheduled class students will be offered a refund or a class credit.

  5. We may cancel or reschedule a Studio Hire Booking due to unforeseen circumstances. Where practicable we will work with the booker to reschedule their Studio Hire Booking to a suitable time. In the event of a cancellation the booker will be offered a refund or a booking credit.

  6. Age Restrictions: Please note that certain art classes may have specific age restrictions. Ensure you meet the age requirements before making a booking for a particular class.

  7. Liability:

    • The Corner Studio is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your participation in art classes or studio hire.

    • Participants are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their belongings while on The Corner Studio premises.

  8. Code of Conduct:

    • Please respect the studio, instructors, fellow participants, and any property belonging to The Corner Studio.

    • Follow instructions provided by instructors and adhere to any safety guidelines or regulations.

    • Any behaviour deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful may result in removal from the class or premises without refund.

  9. Intellectual Property:

    • All artworks created during art classes remain the intellectual property of the respective participants.

    • The Corner Studio and its contractors retain the right to photograph and use images of artworks created in classes for promotional purposes, with proper credit given to the artist where practicable.

  10. Privacy: The Corner Studio respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent. Please read our Privacy Policy.
